about stacey mcdermott

Stacey grew up in New England (Vermont and Maine) and moved to California in 1992 to attend the California College of Arts and Crafts. She studied painting and ceramics in college and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1997. She went to work in her first office job for a marketing & design company. There she began with desktop publishing, and got a taste for graphic design and computers. Since that time she has been freelancing and working on both print and web design, content management and management of her own design company. She has worked mostly with small businesses and start up businesses, but has also had the opportunity to work with corporate entities, agencies, and marketing firms. For the past ten years, she has functioned as an interactive project manager as well as running artscheme.
